A presentation copy of a well-illustrated biographical account, organised chronologically and intended to serve as a companion to the permanent exhibition at the Churchill War Rooms, of Winston Churchill by his youngest granddaughter Celia Sandys (b.1943). Her touching foreword notes that she hopes 'that this book will prove to be a worthy reminder of the inspiring story of the extraordinary man whom I am proud to have called Grandpapa'.
