A diverse sammelband of seven eighteenth century pamphlets, the highlight of which being the sole edition of an anonymous monograph on language pedagogy. The author insists on conversation for teaching Latin, stating that boys must kept a year and a half at grammar alone: 'Latin may as well be our first Language as English.'
