A sammelband of 15, predominantly seventeenth-century, anti-Catholic tracts and sermons including a rare pamphlet relating the situation in the French province of Cevennes at the outset of the war of the Camisards, a Huguenot led uprising against the crown begun in response to the revocation of the Edict of Nantes in 1685 and resulting in the persecution of Protestant practitioners.
