The first edition in English, translated from the Dutch (with extensive footnotes analysing the contents), of a conciliatory address delivered by French minister Denis Malbrand de La Noüe, on behalf of Louis XV, to Queen of Hungary Maria Theresa following the signing of the Treaty of Breslau in an effort to affirm the allegiance between the two powers during the ongoing War of the Austrian Succession (1740-48).
